Home Page

The Home page is the first screen you see within SmartAuction. Here you will find a listing of the vehicles available in today’s auction grouped by Make and Model. The Home Page can be displayed from anywhere in the Web site by clicking on the ‘Home’ link on the top navigation bar.

Navigation Tabs

The navigation tabs allow you to move quickly and easily through SmartAuction. They display on the top of every screen of SmartAuction, and function the same throughout the system. The navigation tabs and the functions you can perform on each tab display in the following table.

TAB	USE THIS TAB TO…
HOME	Home is the welcome screen and the first screen you see each time you log in to SmartAuction
BUY	Search for vehicles, access your saved searches, bid list, auction summary, and transporter order status
SELL	Post a vehicle for sale, view current Hold, Active, Sold, and removed vehicles.
AUCTION HISTORY	Access the SmartAuction History Report search screen to view data on recent SmartAuction sales.
MANAGE	Manage your dealer, user, and vehicle history report profile information.
VIRTUAL SHOWROOM	Access to the customer view available in the Virtual Showroom. Allows you direct access without having to log in separately to SmartAuction.

Post a Vehicle

From the Home Page, you can enter a 17 digit VIN in this field and click on the button to start the vehicle posting process. You can also post a vehicle by selecting <Post> from the <Sell> drop down menu.

Market Report

Enter a 17 digit VIN and estimated mileage in this field to get a current view of the market report on your vehicle. The report is comprised of recent SmartAuction transactions of like vehicles.

Today’s Available Vehicles

This section highlights all vehicles that are available to you in today’s auction. This offers you a quick way to search available vehicles by Make and Model, with the ability to filter by Auction Lane, Vehicle Type, and Distance.

Auction Lane
Select an Auction Lane from the dropdown menu to filter for vehicles in a specific Auction (Open sale, Closed factory sale, etc.) You may have access to more than one Auction Lane, depending on your dealership.

Vehicle Type
The classification of vehicle type you would like to search for (rental, dealer-owned, lease, etc.).

Distance
The Distance filter allows you to increase or decrease the number of miles from your dealership you want to search for vehicles. The default range is 0-100 miles. In the event that the range selected is "All", the search will include all vehicles available for auction, regardless of their distance from your dealership.

News

This section will feature news that is tailored specifically to your dealership. This section will be updated as needed.

Offers, Questions, Messages

The upper right hand corner on each screen will contain a count of each of the Offers, Questions, and Messages which are specific to you. Click on each link to review.

Offers
As a seller, you are able to opt in to accept offers on the vehicles you have for sale. If a prospective buyer would like to make an offer on one of your vehicles, their offer will be sent to you and shown in your Offers inbox. Click on the Offers(1) link to review offers.
Questions
As a seller, you have the ability to opt in to receive questions from prospective buyers. If you have opted in, and a buyer asks you a question, their question will be sent to you and shown in your Questions inbox. Click on the Questions(1) link to review and respond to the Question.
Messages
SmartAuction and some of their consignors, have the ability to send a customized message to your dealership. This message may contain generic information or specialized content such as announcing a special program. Click on the Messages(1) link to review the Message.

Featured Content

This section will feature special promotional or training content specific to your dealership. This material may include training demos, user guides, marketing materials, etc. Click on the <View All> to access the featured content page.
